1000 miles bunting for XB! :-)

Feeling ropey :-(. I've made the Christmas cake (it's a light fruit cake, not the heavy traditional one so it doesn't matter that I've left it so late), bought the tree but it's still outside on the decking, wrapped more presents, put a wreath on the front door having polished the brass knocker first (sorry Dio we'll have to agree to disagree, I like a Christmas wreath on the front door) and delivered some cards - so nothing particularly onerous, but I feel wiped out. No club run for me tonight and I may well have an early night.

Very rude on the thread tonight. :-0

GWS poorly folks. Forgot to say I'm amazed and jealous at the Gadget Show win. I didn't believe that people really got all that stuff...

I'd take umbrage at MB's comment but it's hidden under all the hugs on the huggage rack :-)

I think I'd hate to win the Gadget Show stuff actually!
Our vicar at pottery made us a really yummy fruit cake on Monday, I think it was more alcoholic than a pint

I have done no running today but must have walked 5 miles, which will have to suffice. Horrid sore throat still.

Ding dong Meglet on high
I went for a run at lunchtime and did a very nice 5k. It was just warm enough for a tshirt without being too hot, low sun, and not windy. It can be an effort to run from work but it's worth it.

Sorry for the folk still feeling under the weather, hope you get out the other side soon.

I went for a lovely walk today then out for a little bug hunting trot this evening. The moon rising through the clouds was pretty amazing to see.

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
