Morning. Total lack of energies yesterday, didn't cycle, didn't get things done, did watch the GP and rather glad the spoilt brat who tried to win the championship by holding up the race didn't win. Sorry British journalists, but I'm not a fan. Also not a fan of how you can run 2 stories on the brat, but not report who did win.
Now a bit annoyed with myself that I didn't get off my bum and do much yesterday but I guess I needed the rest...
Now then, congrats MB on the PB, FML on the MoM (Y?) and MM do the cakeathon it sounds great! Linds get yourself better!
Waves to everyone else, and sorry if I forgot anything important!

Everest marathon sounds incredible, but not for me. I don't have a hankering to go there, at all.

One of our parkrun core team has done the Everest marathon (talk about one extreme to the other ;-)). Yes, it awesome/amazing/extraordinary etc, but I got the feeling that even he felt it was just a bit too challenging for pleasure.

Agree with you about the Brat JC. I know he is insanely talented as a racing driver, but he doesn't come across well at all.

I like LH and think he did exactly the right thing - enough to give himself a chance of winning the championship without sabotaging Rosberg. It made the race much more interesting and left it down to Rosberg not to screw up under pressure. F1 is only a team sport in terms of the manufacturers prize, for the drivers it is very much and individual competition, always has been and always will. Any driver worth his salt would run over his granny for a win.

I thought it was fine what he did. In fact I liked that he told his team he was after the championship and to back off.

Agree with the above - why would you give up the chance to become world champ (even if it was only a slim chance).

Hi all, nice one MB and FML.
As far as Hamilton goes, it was the only tool he had available so why not? It wouldn't have been the first time pressure got the best of Rosberg. But, it is a fine line between looking after one's own interests and following your employers wishes. Then again, I do not think that the setup in the Mercedes team was geared towards Lewis at all this season and wouldn't be surprised if he jumps ship soon. On another note I really felt for Button, he's had no luck at all and am looking forward to following him in the triathlon if he goes through with competing there.
