How much walking is allowed? (ie, how many hours do marshals have to stand out there in possibly howling wind and rain, before they shoot you?)

You used to not get a time if you were outside 6 hours but that was before they had the chimp timing.
(My spell checker thinks that should be chip rather than chimp, but I'm overriding it)
I think there are walkers who still do it so come back in quite late.

You can enter as a walker LD. I think they hope everone os back by 6pm, so 9 hours. That's why it is good as a first marathon, no worries about cut offs or keeping people late.

Hmmmm.... can I even walk 26 miles though? *ponders* It does sound like fun, in a painful, masochistic, never-doing-this-ever-again way

Paula, I think you'll have to make sure that your sofa has all your requirements for the day around you tomorrow. Of course, unless you've got a commode, you will have to get up and move about occassionally.
