Yay all round :)

I was going to go for a run but my feet kill after walking 20000 steps today, why is walking harder on feet than running? I might yet change my mind, or get up early tomorrow to do it. If I run along the river I can't get lost :)

Andy - make sure you take plenty of fluids on the flight home. Flying can be very dehydrating, and if you're home on Thursday evening for a race on Sunday, the flight is in the time frame for getting properly hydrated, if you see what I mean. *switches off teaching grandmother to suck eggs mode*

Thanks LD making a mental note that beer and wine is not the ideal hydration mechanism :)

Well done on the award Som, always nice to get some good as usually its only the bad that is recognised.

Dentist... finally bit the bullet (as it were) and have ditched the horrible dentist nearby to go to one that's inconvenient but nice. Hopefully, still nice.

(I had a bad dentist experience in my teens, found one about 15 years ago who was straight forward and got on with things and let me listen to music. He moved to the other side of town so I saw the other dentist in the practice. Who thinks he is good with nervous patients. Telling a mostly recovered patient how nervous they are and making a meal of a basic filling is not good (Grr).Off to Caversham to see the previous chap on Monday...)

HDS. Probably a no from me...going to try for getting to more TVXC this season.

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
