It's a knockout operation Columba but should still be a day patient job.

When I had the other knee done 6 years ago I was doing:

Daily walks a week post op
My first walk/run 6 weeks post op
Ran GSR just over 10 weeks post op

Indeed. That's why I kept that one in and took the other marathon's out. It's nice to have a target.

Well done Linds. Quite an achievement. Should be proud of yourself.

Good luck to Bint & Carp

Fingers crossed you are up and running as per last op PP.

Hurrah for (nearly) Dr Linds! bunting
Hurrah for Columba's Knee bunting
Good luck PP *icon depicting perfectly functioning knee*

7 slow miles this morning (as per plan), lots of time on the beach throwing a stick for a wildly over-excited and now knackered dog and a surprise visit from a friend I haven't seen for ages. The sun has shone all day and it's been a well-nigh perfect day :-)

Evening

Went to club, bailed out before we ran a mile and ended up running up and down the seafront on my own and did 6 miles. Tummy was unsettled and there are a few pits stop options on seafront 😊

First time I have run 6 miles for yonks

Mixed blessings there, MM, but great news on the 6 miles :-)

Your day sounds blissful, LD

PP - good on you for taking the decision to sort your knee. I have no doubt you will come back even stronger

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
