Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Rather than Untappd I've been using my Fetch books list fetcheveryone.com/mybooks.php as a library of beers. Watch this space.
Thanks Weean. So far this year I've had so few beers I keep forgetting what was on the list. I never read a book these days so it'll do nicely!

Did add Windswept Hurricane to my list yesterday. If anyone finds themselves in Lossiemouth their little brewery tap is very pleasant on a mild day.

Forgive me…I have sinned. I’ve discovered a taste for the Aldi own brand 0% pilsner. Found a damaged case in the 30% off shelf and the rest is history. Only £2.49 for 6 bottles anyway.

BRULO Lust for Life DDH IPA 0.0%

I hadn't heard of Brulo before but they seem to be a craft brewery specialising in Alcohol Free. They have a long way to go to match Big Drop in my opinion!

Bottles

KEO Cypriot lager 4.5% left over from weekend

Mrs Nico went to Sainsburys, it was wet and windy

Batemans Mocha 6%
Sainsburys London Porter (Shephed Neame) 5%
Sainsburys Winter Warmer Ale (Eagle) 5.3%

The last one was apparently on clearance, 80p. Must get some more.

Some of the supermarket 'own brand' ones are pretty good although I do wonder how many are the same beer but badged by the brewer according to who they are selling it to

About This Thread

Maintained by Ocelot Spleens
and here we are in 2025....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise, besides it's quality I prefer not volume.

Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2025, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.

Also interesting to see how variable local areas are!
