Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Big G - you appear to be number 32 (I'm 34) but as we will both be in club vests, should be easy enough to spot and say hi (I am with Running Forever, white with red flashes)

619 mi YTD so +12% for the 2500-mile table. Everything fine so far but I think it is a step too far to flit to the next table up.

315 miles for the month, 890ish for the year.

Steady if uneventful running.

Some big miles from people this month, over 500km and not even threatening the first page of the March training league!

May have a slight issue with Saturday’s marathon as I’ve got a vaccination tomorrow (Thursday)! I got a text late tonight and I’m booked in for lunch time Thursday. Hopefully I’ll be fine for Saturday’s marathon but I’ll have to see how I react. I had appointment options of either Thursday or Saturday and didn’t really want to delay getting the vaccine at this point. The next vaccine will be around 11 weeks away, which all being well should be after DD.

Hope the side effects are ok. I was fatigued running for a few days and had a severe headache the following day. To be honest, missing a marathon for a long-term health benefit has to be a win.

I did 50Km 3 days after the AZ jab. It wasn’t pretty but I got round.

I ran my regular 10-13 miles the day after mine! Would take a broken leg to stop me getting out there!
