Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Should hit 1700 by the end of October, if I can be motivated enough to get out tonight and tomorrow.

Need to find a reason to run decent volumes now that the Autumn marathon is done - 300 miles in November and December feels like it might just be the carrot that I can dangle in front of myself to avoid the usual post-race downward slide that I normally manage. Saying it here so I've made something of a public declaration of intent!!

A steady month including a holiday takes me to 1663 for the year. RD tomorrow then pick it up again in November and look at getting to 2000 for the year.

1505 mi total so far this year. I think I will make that my target next year. I seem to do less when following 80/20 in principle.

174 miles for the month and 2,011 for the year. A rest day tomorrow, and then November and December to fit in as many more as possible!

167 (possibly 170 as I’ll run at least 5k tomorrow) for the month and 1978 for the year!

I stopped putting pressure on myself to run 200 miles this month, I started well but I’m still managing the pf and life has got busy some days too!

Well done, jelly, almost there! Congratulations allmatthew!

I'm sitting at 1602 for the year so almost 400 miles needed in November and December. That's a steep mountain to climb. Tomorrow, I'll try and run the 2 remaining lakes in the 7 lakes challenge, 10 and 5 miles so that will make the task a bit easier but still challenging, 383 miles to go. I have Athens Marathon on the 12th of November with some recovery afterwards. December should be a big month as I begin base building for the next P&D stint. It'll be a close call.

Hit 1,334 at the end of October. Hoping to hit 200mi in November, not sure about December. Safe to say i've missed the big 2k. Probs next year.

Still need to hit the biggest combined Nov + Dec in my running history so far. Will overtake 1805 (my previous highest) in a couple of weeks, and still just about on track for 2000 but it will be touch and go. At least having a treadmill in the garage now means I can find fewer excuses not to run.

I'm recovering from the marathon so I'm a bit limited for a while. 2000 looks unlikely now. I'll do what I can to build a decent base for 2024.
