Yes, despite the sun, there is a bite in the air.

I played it safe and ran on the treadmill today. Foot is 'ok' if I make sure I hit the ground squarely - any wobble or uneven ground is a bit painful.

All the students are back in school tomorrow. I don't mind admitting that I am a little concerned about it all. Just off to do another lateral flow test.

My ankle is like that Mrsb...I have to be so careful though when warmed up my ankles are quite resilient. Good luck tomorrow.

Apparently the LFT testing gets easier the more you do it. Sadly I am still at the gagging and eye watering stage!

Mrs D has been doing it for 3 - 4 and doesn't enjoy, but doesn't gag anymore. Watched my 13 year old do it on Friday @ school and it was a struggle for him.

+1. I did a swab PCR test as part of a randomized ICL study a few weeks ago, testing the general population. Made me feel quite uncomfortable for a few hours, I imagine that going through that every day isn't going to be easy.

It is weird being back in school. I suspect there will be lots of teachers with no voices in quite short order as being heard through a mask is tricky.

I had to cut my run short this afternoon as I had a bad case of the "bonk." It's my own fault, I had an early breakfast, then did a lot of jobs on the bungalow. By the time I got out for my run, I hadn't eaten for 6 hours. Yes, I know, I should know better at my age.
I hope everyone else had a more enjoyable run today.

I ended up with a streaksaver today...ran out of time after work to get a second run/shop in before I had to teach yoga.
