Seems to have gone a bit quiet in here. Hello all, hope you're all managing to keep reasonably dry at the moment. Haven't run for over a week to let the various niggles settle (and proud to say I haven't actually strangled anybody despite the no-running), but hoping to give parkrun a go tomorrow. Spent yesterday helping at a challenge race at Pitsford Water near Northampton - goodness me, it rained! Really felt for the runners, miserable conditions, but most seemed to have an excellent time. Fortunately, I was mainly helping dish out the food and drinks, so was under cover most of the time. A very damp drive home through some spectacular puddles and incipient flooding - some parts of the journey were apparently almost impassable just a couple of hours later, so that worked out OK for me. Have a lovely weekend, everybody, hope the running and/or racing goes OK for you all. |

Hi everyone. A small celebration in Neilio Towers tonight as I’ve got a badge for 250 blood donations at an event today. I’m currently on 288. I’m a platelet donor so can donate a lot more regularly than full blood. |
