Happy new year TT.

Yes Bonners. My problem is that it's a bit of an unknown as to what realistic expectation is for a distance that I'm unfamiliar with.

70%+ for 5k
69% for 10k

67% for half .... So should I aim for 65% for marathon or something less and be more confident about getting round and carrying on running in the weeks and months after ( which is my top priority). I was basing my marathon pace on 60% but maybe that is too slow.

On fetch's calculator, he has you coming out around 4hrs 3 minutes, is that similar to what you expected?

Too dangerous on fetch these days.

Safer to let people cock up.

There are too many people who know very little talking these days and I'm fed up of the confrontation. I shall still show shock sometimes but after the parkrun thread the 3.15 Mara thread the sub 90 min half thread I am tired.

Next year's plan is to focus on me, not give advice openly and finally not get annoyed by people offering bad advice.

Smile and the world smiles with you :-)

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Gobi I always appreciate advice I see you giving as you have sound knowledge and experience to back it up, although some people ask for advice unfortunately not all heed input based on experience as well we know. I hope you have a very successful 2019 :-)
