Love a good plan Neilio.

I'm off out for a plod now that my new mattress has been delivered, glad I didn't have to hang around all morning :-)

Only problem with my mattress is the whale that bounces around next to me during the night

I've run. It was not quite double figures

Ooh it's firm! And there is no spring digging in my ribs when I lay on it. Can't be right that can it? :-)

That sounds promising Pikelet! Springs digging in ribs sounds horrible.

From the sounds of it, you'll need the sleep after being poked in the ribs for some time!

Me and the OH were both starting to get backache which mysteriously cleared up when we went away on holiday and slept in a different bed. Finally got around to buying one this week.

On a completely different subject, here is today's top tip - the giant plastic bags given out to parcel up your old mattress for collection would be perfect to wrap up any bodies you need to dispose of ;-)

I wonder if my hip issue is partly down to an aged mattress? I can't remember when we bought the current one.

Hello! Rest day today, bur we went for a nice walk along the canal this morning.

Have a great weekend, everyone - Mr JK and I are off to glorious South Wales after parkrun tomorrow, to do the Severn Bridge Half on Sunday. It's looking a bit damp according to the weather forecast.

I'm about to hit 500 miles for the year. Go me. I'm on 496. At current rate I'll hit 500 in October and 1500 in 2021. :-) G
