Well done, all. Good to see we're doing so well with our WAVAs.
Well done on the Toks family parkrunning. I'm sure your children will come to appreciate the holiday with a bit of hindsight.
Hope your shedload of racing this weekend is going OK, jennyh. It sounds a bit mean to put the mile at the end of it all!
Missed you at Leicester, DocM, would've waved, but we were heading down the motorways to S Wales as we're doing the Severn Bridge HM tomorrow. Have a lovely holiday!

Nice plate Mrs J. We have seen a few fizzies. Pity about the old 'bowls' issues. We need sort a date out.
Fizz has some immensely exciting news but I will let her avail you of this. Last time I saw the lady in question was at RAF Bentley Priory. I was young then.
We went to Rutland Parkrun. It was OK.

We're going to see the Queen
(Along with about 20,000 others, I guess!)
The company I work for was involved in building the new Forth Bridge (Queensferry Crossing) and they got some tickets to join the 50,000 people that are walking over it next Saturday and Sunday. We were lucky in the ballot
It gets more exciting though - we then had the opportunity to apply for tickets to the Queen's official opening on the Monday. We were lucky in that ballot too
(I just hope we get the same luck in the VMLM ballot later this month!!)

Surely the Queen is getting to see you, Fizz? Congrats anyway - these things come in 3s, don't they? So you're definitely in with a good chance for the London ballot.

Wotcha 1500ers. I did parkrun tourism back in The Old Country (Leicester) today and still managed to avoid jabberknit. Sorry jk.
Now back home after a stressful week which I will probably blog about later. All is well now.

I think the Queen is very keen to meet WW
I've just googled and the Duke will also be attending in an official capacity. He would be good to have a chat with.
Hopefully we avoid Ms Sturgeon, not so keen on her!
