Not sure what we'll be eating this evening, but it won't be burgers.

I shall run at club later, but running with our newbies - they'll be doing their longest run to date, around 7-8k (there's a variety of paces in the group so some will go further than others).

We have a huge enormous megaspider that lives under our tumble dryer. It's been evicted several times using the glass/paper method (had to use a pint glass!), but seems to wait until we're not looking, then kick the back door open and settle back in again. The tumble dryer doesn't seem to bother it, but I suppose it's nice and warm in the winter.

Good luck in your hunt for spare parts, Doc. It's a bit depressing how quickly things become obsolete these days.

I'm the spider remover-er in our house too, Mr J is terrified of them.

Just been for a lunchtime walk with a colleague, and by the marina we saw what looked like one swan trying to drown another :-( Tried to shoo the aggressor away to no avail, hope the swan being harassed manged to get away

Doc - loads of white goods spare part companies on the web. I've fixed our old oven and washing machine a couple of times with spares
