Well done Huntsman, 3:25 is still a very good time - that heat really saps what remaining energy you have left!

Oh, I must say Garfield is a most lovely host. It's been an exhausting day though.
Thank you to Team Jigs getting me to VMLM.

Well done Huntsman! Sorry that the last 5 miles were unpleasant, but sounds like you still did a great job on a hilly course and in the heat.
Didn't make it to Fetchpoint unfortunately Mrs J When I tried to go over around 11-ish a steward was stopping people going any further in that direction, then not too long after I'd gone back to where my clubman es were watching from it got busy and we didn't really have the opportunity to move. Hope Team Jigs, Garfield and Funky Monkey had a good time at Fetch point!
Jono, I did shout for all Fetchies I saw - I also think I saw Clare1976, obviously she wouldn't have any idea who I was but I did give a big shout regardless

I'm enjoying a soak in the bath.
Drying out may take some time.

Hello. Hope everybody enjoyed whatever they did today.

Achieved my standard aims - finish the race, walk (well, sort of stagger) away uninjured, and don't come last (just scraped this one 185th/187!). Did the first 26.2 miles in 5:15, then took

Oops, posted a bit too eagerly there.
3.5 hours to do the last 13.1 miles.
I'm not planning to do any more ultras, I don't think my legs like them.
