Aw, she's a real cutie Toks - hope you get to meet her in person before too long.

JK, fingers and toes crossed that your leg behaves itself and is okay for Sunday.

Not running VLM, but our club do a trip there every year, so I'm going along for the weekend to support a mate who is running it - it's her first marathon. I know it's a love-it-or-hate-it race, but I have a feeling that she will fall into the former category.

That didn't look quite as good as in my head, but you get the gist, hopefully.

Leg and Boston permitting, I hope to be running the far more important Shakespeare Marathon in Stratford on April 24th. (Unfinished business with this one, as I had to drop out at 16 miles last year with a torn calf muscle.)

Suzy Fitt? Nominative determinism rules, DocMoye!

Suzy Fitt - great name!

For what it's worth, I heart VLM, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. I also had a terrible experience the first time I attempted it, my own fault as I started it carrying an injury when I should have deferred, ended in a DNF after 11 miles.

Hope you manage to run and complete the Shakespeare marathon JK, I know that feeling when you have unfinished business with a race and need to exorcise some demons.
