Sorry to hear about the bad conditions this morning.
Ran Poole parkrun this morning in a bit of breeze but generally lovely conditions Managed 19:10 which I was quite pleased with.

Nice one Huntsman Miss Neilio and I have been into town for World Record Day and she bought some limited edition, special release vinyl records. It was like being 16 again in the record shops. We had coffee and cake.

Great running Huntsman, is that a parkrun PB? Was it a full-on PB attempt?

A lovely run around Corby parkrun. Little bit of snow but everyone was enjoying themselves. I like Corby
That's a fine time Huntsman. Never managed to go sub 20.

WW thanks.
FR - yes that was a full on parkrun PB attempt. I've gone sub 19 twice but never sub 19 in a parkrun so today was that day until I slowed down considerably in mile 3. Still pleased though

Great effort Huntsman. I will bang the drum about pacing (in a positive not negative way)? If you ran 6:10 for the first and second mile would you have finished with a quicker time?

Yes FR I would have. I think if I'd only ran 6-8 secs slower in the first mile my overall time would have been quicker. Next time I'm going to hit 6:05-6:10m/m

Me too That is exactly what I'm after (sub 19). Just need to get my pacing spot on, I've missed it by a matter of seconds a few times now...
Went to the Bicester inaugural today (didn't see you Mrs J). Was cold, wet and muddy but I atually really enjoyed it. Still shattered from last weekends marathons but slowly getting my legs back
