Still buzzing from the amazing inaugural, 29 volunteers! Everyone who could, helped.
4 miles for me today and a few emails about parkrun #2, everything is still on track.
Felt good to be running again in the sun today.

No start date yet WW, a changing of staff at parkrun put a big delay on things. Helen Hood was dealing with it but she got promoted. We had to wait until after Hucknall started before it could move forward.
I now have a new ambassador to deal with who started last week, it will be his first parkrun activation.
It's given us plenty of time to get prepared, funding, land use, 2 x ED's and 40 volunteers all ready for parkrun, just waiting on a site visit and the green light from them.

Excellent work PP
3 miles earlier (and popping into Asda for some toothpaste on the way home) gets me over the 100 miles this month.Donating platelets at the blood centre today, although I have turned up a day early. Better than a day late though
