Morning all! I see we have lovely Easter bank holiday weather to enjoy as rain, sleet, snow and hail are thrown against the window by gusting gales. Glad it's a running rest day today.

Lamb for tea.

Right now we should be lining up at the start of Stanwick 10k, instead we are drinking coffee and eating cake in Caffè Nero :-)

We turned up at the race, parked on the field and then decided to bail out, got stuck on the field and Fetch kindly helped to push us out #stormkatieb

Coffee and cake is ok, the weather is awful. We're having tea and hot cross buns at home, having done our seven mile chicken/pig run.

Darn, have we missed the hot cross buns again?? ;-)

Well done on getting out in the atrocious weather, I didn't want to risk another cold or chest infection with Rotterdam less than 2 weeks away :-)

It's a pig run. Not chicken.

I successfully ran 7 miles whereby my hat did not blow off.

With Wednesday's run it should see me go over 100 for the month again.

I am enjoying the Simnel cake. Only 11 disciples of marzipan - don't know why? There has been a run everyday, but I cannot say I needed that much fuel. Probably no more long runs... the Brighton taper begins, but it is not like a normal taper, apparently it involves a lot more speedwork

Today's run involved chasing my cap down the street. Caught it.

Then entertaining 6 year old nephew. Guess which was more tiring *wink*
