Morning Fetchies, some good racing yesterday - well done Huntsman, Mrs J, JK and Team Pikelet!

Rich - 8 weeks til race day gives you 5 weeks solid training, loads of time. You still did 18 yesterday, sounds okay 8 weeks out from race day.

Neilio, that cake looks awesome!

Pretty pleased yesterday, as on my penultimate long run I averaged 9.14 pace (which is quick for me on a training run) - would have been quicker if not for practically two miles of climbing up a nasty hill in the middle. Managed to do 8 of the miles at under 9 min/mile pace, including the last 2.4 miles. Also did my first yoga class in over a month yesterday evening, which amazingly wasn't as hard as I thought it would be after such a long break.

Hill session tonight, hoping I can do something about my many blisters before then!

Morning all

WOW what a cake, I would be made up with that - was it a Mothers Day present?

Rest day for me, did Wrexham marathon yesterday in 4:14-17 - pretty pleased with the time considering basic lack of long runs - one the old bid section too :-)
