Thanks everyone :-)

My next 2 races are a half and a 10k, I'm interested to see if FM works over the shorter distances...

Thanks for the good wishes for the race.

Lovely race in the countryside. 2:37:27 I did it in and very pleased I am too. Averaged under 8m/m and finished really strong :-)

Excellent result, Huntsman. I woke to a very sore right quad, almost DNS'd the hilly 6 mile league race this morning, but did. Very slow first 3 miles, but stormed up the second big hill, which seemed to loosen off the tightness and finished well. Nowhere near a PB, but so glad I got round. Still a bit sore in the leg department, but will have a good rest over the next couple of days.

Roast lamb for tea, cooked by DD1, with a treacle tart to follow.

Some great runs, races and PB's going on. I would like to add to these with my team, little old Handsworth Roadhogs, we only went and won our XC series today. Men were 2nd overall and Ladies team finished first! Chuffed :-) May even open my Mothers Day Prosecco to celebrate!

All good thanks Ron, purposely kept my miles to 8+ minutes, no dramas and head was in the right place for a change:-) Last couple of miles were tough going though.

Well done Huntsman and Jabberknit:-)

Well done team Pikelet and the XC men. I did LSR trying to keep HR below 135. Sometimes people were walking quicker than I was running.
