I had my worst year running and didn't come close to breaking the 1500 mark for the first time since records began, managed a 100 mile month in December though, for first time since May

As it’s New Years’ Eve, I’d thought I’d lighten the mood with some of Tim Vine’s finest one liners, apologies if they don’t make you smile. They did me a few times whilst writing this. Also, we have one list as the final round up. Everyone has contributed to the greatest thread on Fetch, so we’re all in this one together. Congratulations to everyone who got over the 1500 line, and also congratulations to those who didn’t, myself included. Every mile done, is a mile fighting back against the unhealthy stuff that blights our great nation. Well done also to filling so many pages of mainly nonsense over the year…… In comparison, previous year’s 1500 thread had the following number of pages (10 posts per page), some names go all the way back too 2009 1175 2010 665 2011 768 2012 651 2013 828 2014 1002 2015 1006 so far I guess this proves as we get older, we babble on more and more, whether anyone is listening or not. Here’s the jokes….. So I went down the local supermarket, I said "I want to make a complaint, this vinegar's got lumps in it", he said "Those are pickled onions". So I met the bloke who invented crosswords today. I can't remember his name, it's P something T something R. "So I rang up my local swimming baths. I said 'Is that the local swimming baths?' He said 'It depends where you're calling from.'" "Apparently, 1 in 5 people in the world are Chinese. And there are 5 people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother Colin. Or my younger brother Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin." So this lorry full of tortoises collided with a van full of terrapins. It was a turtle disaster. So I told my girlfriend I had a job in a bowling alley. She said "Tenpin?" I said, "No, it's a permanent job” "So I told my mum that I'd opened a theatre. She said, "Are you having me on?"
