Can't say I come around here much. But I did set my target of 1500 and have logged my last miles of the year giving me 1707 to date. Will be joining again for next year, as it seems the most sensible target for me Well done to all those who have made it
I *might* even put next years thread back on my watchlist, if it moves slow enough for me to keep up. It seemed that this year whenever I went to look at it I was about 8 pages behind every time

Congratulations RIC. Hope the miles resulted in some good racing results.
The thread can zip along a bit but do pop in and say hello.
Get Nottingham half or full marathon in your portfolio.
Do you play an instrument?

Merry Christmas & HappyNewG(rrr)
You don't have to keep up (who can?!) with all the chat - just popping in and saying hi every now and again is fine, isn't it?
Just to say well done again to Toks, such an inspiration, and can't believe you've got more back to back marathons lined up. Amazing stuff! G

Merry Christmas & HappyNewG(rrr)
Oh, and I might not get my last 11 miles today logged in time for round up at 9pm (we're off out for dinner at 6pm and will be all of a-rush). But not a prob, as I'm quite a long way over the line anyway! 206 at the mo for the month will be about average - 217 would be "flattering"! I had 6 months below 200 and 6 above. But the belows were *more* below than the aboves!
Happy New Year all. Hope you all have a great night. G

i think the 1000 pages is going right down to the wire.
can anyone play the harmonica (my dyslexic son gets that one confused with a harpsichord which could be a little impractical to bring along)

I taught music for a year to year 7, then finally confessed to the resident music teacher that I was thrown out of the recorder club as a child. It was on in the winter, so was warm at lunchtime. All was going well until they asked me to play on my own, and my plan of hiding at the back and just moving my fingers without blowing came unstuck
So, maybe I could blag it
