Nice one scottdog. I did just over 7 last night as back runner for our club social. Found it tough but there’s a lot of stopping to regroup which always spoils my rhythm.

A hilly 10k keeps you strong hs! Ugh to the humidity though. Starting your more serious programme on Monday...hmm...care with the extreme heat expected🌞.
Good running scottdog and you too with a 7 miler LL even if a back marker.
Very pleasant early morning temperature today and six miles done on roads and places where there are people! Nice run wearing old trainers which are so much better than my new collection!

I always find stop/start or running at a pace which is different to normal upsets the rhythm LL

A good pace Scottdog.

Well done LL for your 7 miles as the tail runner for your social club. I believe that can be harder than actually running at your usual pace.

Thanks Steve, our first run on Monday is just a 6 miler, which will be sensibly slow 🐌 in the forecasted high temperature. I'm glad that you enjoyed the cooler morning for your 6 miler.

Just the usual Farmers Walk this morning.

A very difficult choice for TV viewing this evening, with the World Championships athletics, Women's Euro 2022 football, and the Conservative Leadership Debate.

Well done on the farmers walk HS😉
More decent miles for you Steve.
Another 15 on the bike today.
Next week if the weather keeps hotting up I might forget running and try and catch the transit on the cycling challenge.

Have a nice weekend everyone and take care in the heat.

That Farmer's Walking is keeping your inner strength up I'm sure hs. Being overall healthy/fit is made a bit easier (?!🤪) when we can incorporate everyday activities to add to our "training".
Already enjoying World Athletic Championships hs, and the highlights of Tour de France. Talking of my which (!), your cycling is going well LL.
5.5 this morning on my single run on trails this week, lovely conditions and glorious sun. No heat problems at my early hour.

Hope the 10k is ok tomorrow LL, I'm sure it'll be well within your capabilities at that earlier start and the heat won't be too bad. 🤞

Thanks LL, and well done for your 15 miles cycle ride.

Thanks Steve, I'm sure the Farmers Walk is helping me to maintain my left of fitness. Well done for your 5.5 miles trail run this morning.

I ran 6.46 miles in the forest this morning with a running friend I hadn't run with for quite some time. Conditions were good, not too hot, and a nice gentle breeze.

Hot and hilly slow parkrun for me today.

Full effort but it’s a hard one.

My run tomorrow will be a run not a race as it would be foolish to attempt anything other than an easy run/ walk if necessary.

Well done Steve for avoiding the heat.

Your forest run sounded nice too HS well done.
