Good effort in Dublin LL especially with hills. Nothing stopping you EPix! Looking good for Chester and the sweaty days will soon be gone. That's a lot of miles to pedal FF! Do you ride at a good pace? Good thinking Evangel! December can often throw a spanner in the works regardless of Christmas cropping up! Up until this year I'd always try to get past the 1000 before mid November. The way things are going though, even with my slight progress, I fear that 1000 a year might not happen again. Can't fit everything thing in gg and a low mileage week won't harm at all. A late 9.30 am morning run/walk of 4.2 miles wasn't much cooler but it drizzled for five minutes! |

Well done Steve for this mornings walk/run. It was still very hot this morning and I was the only "Monday Group Runner" Blame the GNR and the New Forest marathon and half. I ran 11 miles in the forest and it was tough going🥵😓 |

steve45 I usually commute but occasionally go for a cycle ride (I don't class myself a race cyclist, I have a hybrid cycle) and my pace is somewhere between 4 and 5 minute miles. Nearer to 5 summer commuting and probably nearer to 4 in the winter. I have done 7 miles in under 25 minutes a handful of times but that's generally back wind home. Well done for your hot solo 11 miles hillstrider. |

Good running over the weekend folks. Sorry I didn't post but I did read all your posts. It's still quite a while Steve, I know there are long waiting times but it is frustrating for you. You will definitely get your 1000 for calendar year Pix, you are doing so fantastic. Well done on getting it for the last 365 days. I did 11.5 miles on Saturday, it was far too hot and it didn't feel amazing. I have had a cough for a few days too which seems worse today, but I feel fine otherwise. Core work done this morning and I was sweating lots, this hardly ever happens. Anyway rain came last night and it's much cooler now. |

Nice cycling whatever FF and sure keeps those legs moving well. Wind behind is always good! Yes Lesley it is and I grind on! 👏💥 to your 11.5 miles and in the heat too. Hope that cough disappears, down here there are plenty of people with covid and goodness knows why/how some of them just don't stay at home nowadays. Ok one person I know feels okayish with it but another is quite unwell. I have my covid booster jab and flu jab on 4th October. Nice to do 3.3 miles in relatively cool weather this morning, 16c and drizzle was quite refreshing. Continue to run/walk and enjoying it mostly. |

A few people I know have covid too. Well done HS and Lesley in double figure runs. Hope you feel better soon Lesley. Well done Steve. Not sure I’ll bother with any more jabs. 4 miles of intervals today. 8 x 200 wasn’t feeling it but pleased all the splits had an 8 in them. Only 200 but I’ll take it. 😀 |

Well done on your intervals Loobs, your run Steve and your cycling FF. Well done also to HS, Lesley and Pix on your double figure runs. I’ve just ran/walked a hilly trail 10 miler, it’s the first double figure run since March. Hope you are feeling better today Lesley. |

Still got a cough today, but feel fine otherwise. Well done on your double figures Jaks. Sounds like a good session LL. Some companies are telling folk to continue working in the office and wear a mask if they have Covid. There are technically no rules anymore. Most folk don't seem to care anymore. Should be out with the club tonight, I will see how I am before doing the hill reps. The wee man gets his flu vac (he gets the squirt up the nose) on Saturday morning. He's usually fine after it. It will likely be a trip to the cake shop afterwards as a treat. |
