I wasn't able to have such short recovery when I was doing my intervals hs. You sure do put some hard efforts in!
Hopefully your achilles issue was possibly cramp in your soleus or something like that and is ok now.
Boot camps sound fun even though I'll never do one! Too bloody old.
Bummer about that foot Lesley. I'm periodically plagued with a foot/ankle issue which tends to correct itself over a 24-48 hour period. Had it for years. Hope yours gets better quickly.
Seems a few of us practice the carrier bag shopping training regime!
Four miles this morning, a red sky at dawn and still a bit on the chilly side. But all the greenery, blossom and early wild flowers...and bird song indicates Spring.

It seems a few of you are suffering from niggling aches and pains and I hope they soon clear up. I'm pleased that I'm not the only one that does "the farmers walk" with their shopping.

I suppose Steve that I have always trained hard, and in my younger years did high mileage. It was my menisci tears in my right knee in 2017 that wrecked my training regime, but I have gradually increased my mileage and structured training. Well done for your 4 miler this morning.

I'm starting to be more sensible now, as I'm realising I'm getting on a bit 😠. I'm using the excuse of having an appointment with the Hygienist this afternoon to have a running rest day.

I haven't really been resting LL, but catching up with chores. I retrieved the long handled brush from the back of the garage and brushed away any cobwebs from the ceilings indoors. Also cleaning the cooker hobs, sink and draining board. I certainly know how to live dangerously πŸ˜‚. Probably why I don't have many "rest days."

A rest day today, except for the "farmers walk" and the usual stretches, press ups and front plank.
