Thanks gg, they have identified the problem now and hope to have fixed it by tomorrow morning, but some area might have to wait until Friday.
I've got a doctors appointment at 10am tomorrow morning, so I hope the water is back on before I go! I'm still waiting for a delivery.

Thank Falcarius it was a good workout.

Splendid intervals hs! Not so good about the water though--heard about it on this morning news too.
I don't like the sound of your work/ life balance gg😬. Hope it levels out before another 12 years pass by .
Thanks falcarius... it's all about adapting and accepting now!
Chilly again today, temperatures are continually up and down! Still ok for shorts until it chills a bit more but it rained this morning so longs would have got too wet.

Thanks Steve, thankfully, two crates of 6 bottles were delivered during the night, so I have been able to flush the toilet.
Not so good being able to shower before my doctors appointment though. I had to wash in the sink like the good old days 😬
I'll walk to and from the surgery, about 1.5 miles each way, so that will be today's exercise.

Hope all goes well at the docs hs, and the water is on when you get back. How long has it been off and is it due to storms?

I got up and went out this morning, it was a perfect winter running day today, crisp, bitingly cold but not damp, clear skies. Only 3.5 slow miles, but its more about getting some routine back. Enjoyed that.

I am hoping there is only about 18months left steve, my OH is aiming to retire next year and me the year after... I want to do one more stonkingly good conference, get a few things put in place I have wanted to do here and then leave. But if things take a turn for the worst I know I can bail anytime after April (bonus is paid in April) and that is a nice thought too.

Thanks gg. It went off yesterday morning and the engineers have been working through the night. There was a problem at the pumping station which they have now fixed. We won't see any water though, possibly until Friday, as they have to build up the pressure safely.

Well done for this mornings 3.5 miles slow run in the cold.

Good luck at the doctors HS and hope you get the water back on soon.

Still not feeling 100% so will see how I am by the weekend. Although there is a weather warning for wind.

Nice running everyone.

Thanks Lesley, there is still no water in the taps!

The Dr has recommended that I have a camera down my throat, to see what's going on. I don't have to have it, but he suggested that I should, just in case! He will request a hospital appointment, but said that it wasn't urgent.
