I love an election night but glad I didn't stay with it this time. What a world we live in. The poorest of the poor have voted for tax cuts for multi billionaires.

Steve: consultant visit seems relatively positive. Good you've set your own plan which will allow you to monitor progress. Good luck.

5 more dark miles yesterday. To be clear about running quicker in the dark, I'm not, although when I'm moving I think I am!

Thanks LL, it's not the usual hill that we do the reps on, but it was a good run out and back, adding to the mileage totals.

Well done Donnie1 I used to prefer running in the evening and liked going out in the dark until I fell and broke my arm. Now I have to limit my risks.

I can't believe that man has won again. Most of Aberdeenshire hate him after he was allowed to build his golf course here. It has of course not made any money since it opened.

Well done Donnie on the 900!

Some great running in here, fantastic work everyone.

Medications can take their time to work, hopefully your new training plan helps you Steve and all goes well.

I was out on Tuesday with a few of the ladies for an easy one, it was quite cold, I actually had gloves on for a little while. Out this morning again and it's back to shorts and t-shirt weather. Very weird for November.

Results of elections everywhere never please the whole populations! And everyone on each opposing side thinks they know best!! In my family I have a very left wing academic and another in North America who is further right than my dominant right hand!! They both think that their understanding of political events is right. They are both very good people even though I despair at many of both their opinions..... because my views are right of course😂😂
I think I gave a muddled description of my consultation hs. I was overall happy with what was discussed and I have noted definite progress on several levels. I no longer experience extreme fatigue following physical tasks such as shopping and gardening, both of which were "wiping me out" three months ago . Similarly on my run/walks I'm not exhausted at the end any more. It's difficult to make a decision about indefinite use of meds but long COVID remains an unknown quantity world wide and of course my situation is confusing because of age decline as well.
What a fine session once again hs putting in hill reps within a 6.75 mile run.
Yeah, that's what I meant too Donnie1, running in the dark seems faster even it's not! Good five miler there.
You're wise limiting risks LL.

4.5 miles partly on trails as they got light this morning. Unbelievable that we've seen no clear sky now for seven days and it's very murky again.

Well done Donnie 1 for your 5 miles.

Well done Lesley for your run on Tuesday with the ladies, and this mornings run in t-shirt and shorts.

Thanks for the clarification of your condition Steve. It's good that you have been making progress, but still have some way to go. Age decline certainly comes into the equation, and I am experiencing a lowering of my VO2 max which is now 42%.

Thanks for your comments re yesterday's run. It was Mike's birthday yesterday, and I had forgotten it. He didn't mention it during the run, but I found out on Facebook!

Well done for this mornings 4.5 miles partly on trails.

This morning I ran a hilly 10k on roads, still wearing t-shirt and shorts, and my trusty cap. Not cold enough yet for the thermal hat.

I don't know whether I've already mentioned it, but I've got my RSV Respiratory Syncytra Virus jab tomorrow afternoon. I believe that it's a similar virus to Covid.

Thanks hs. What a run you did on roads. Well done. I'm still wearing shorts but too brr for just tee shirt because I don't warm up so much when I walk/run. I always wear my cap too ( wooly one when it's very brrr!) I started wearing a cap about ten years ago when I had a skin condition on my bald head. Luckily ointment etc cleared things up but the dermatologist at the hospital urged me to keep my head covered especially in summer. It became a habit which transferred to wearing a cap even in winter! ( Remember Dave Wattle?!).
I had my RSV thing a while ago, no after effects at all, hope yours goes ok.
3.4 miles on a hilly road circuit in the dark this morning. Physio today. Had a gap of two months and now restarting hip exercises.
