Well done Sandgrounder and Hickerton, one or two more runs should do it for both of you.
I made it with a 9 mile run today. I did my 1000 mile dance in driving wind and rain on top of Arthur's Seat much to the bemusement of all the tourists up there admiring the view

Hickerton and Sandgrounder - poised to applaud you both as you dance through the Finish line. I think Forest Plodder is going to make it, too.
Evangel - glad your leg seems better. I'm sure I could find a more encouraging quotation if I thought about it long enough, but all that comes immediately to mind is "the race is not to the swift..."
Just back from a 4-mile run in pouring rain, bringing my total up to 1009. That will be the last for the year.
