That's a coincidence Evangel in that I received a letter today telling me I can make a phone call to claim my state pension (commencing April). Am amazed that I don't need to fill in a multi-page form.

8.11 miles this morning in the rain at an easy run pace. Looking forward to my rest day tomorrow then it's the Parkrun on Saturday followed by the 20M Winter Tanners for me on Sunday.

Does walk/run count towards the 1000 miles target? Will have to walk/run as the Winter Tanners has no route markers and you are given sheets of directions (with grid references) to follow.

Keep at it everyone.......................

Interval session last night means I'm ahead of target (just) despite this being a rest day. I can see that this is going to be a much tougher target than last year's 750 miles so I'm even contemplating the occasional run to work (though I'm not sure the rest of the office will be keen as there are no showers!)

First run of the year due to having a stinking chest cold. Just over 5 miles hoping I will fully recover soon and get back on track! No rush though

Another 8 miles tonight - 7 at pace and an easy one to finish . . . . . and it was all pretty dull since I was at the gym!! Wasn't prepared to venture out too far as hamstring still a bit tight. 21 miles for week 1.

Some good runs going on all. :-)

8 Miles earlier takes me to 25 for the year so far and on a par with last year. I'll up the distance at the weekend.
