No. Not practical really, Tikka. There is just about room in my conservatory, if Mr Ness moves his weights around, which he may do because he keeps talking about wanting to improve his cardio fitness.

A treadmill would have been warmer than this morning’s run!
I can’t make my mind up whether I’d use one enough - but as insurance against more lockdowns/isolations etc I’m still tempted

5.5 for me, 16.2/100 - still behind

I must admit, Rosehip, when Mr Ness and I had a treadmill it was only worth it because he used it a lot more than me. When we had to quarantine after our holiday in January, I used the turbo trainer instead because our treadmill had broken by then. I would have used a treadmill if we’d had one.

Treadmill is useful in the icy weather but when it is as old as mine and cronky it is never enjoyable.mine is 20+ years old but when it breaks I am not sure I would replace it.

I used my treadmill a fair amount when it was icy in January, but most of the time it's there as an incentive.
"It's too cold/wet/windy/dark to run, I won't bother."
"There's always the treadmill ... "
"Oh, yes. I forgot that. Maybe it's not so cold/wet/windy/dark after all. I'm going out."

That’s another reason why setting up a treadmill in my tiny living room would be a mistake - the only time it would ever be used is if it was icy, snowing or if there was a weather-warning style storm.

I have to be honest I think I'd always rather run outside whatever the weather, even if I end up walking chunks if it's icy etc. I just don't get on well with treadmills :)

Ice isn’t such a problem here - I just run on the trails, it’s really windy wet days I don’t like

[Think I'd rather have a rowing machine. I don't have either, though!]

Looby Loo
Mine is only used when I can’t get out but has been useful during periods of isolation.

I’m starting marathon training soon and will use if we have snow/ice. Mind you 10k is the furthest I’ve ever gone. OH did do a half.
