I think baby corn probably is exactly that - but a lot of these things are similar and we count them as different if they are different varieties - so I wondered.

I would count babycorn and sweetcorn as different as you use them differently. But different varieties of tomatoes or mushrooms I'd count as one thing. But everyone has their own rules :)

Fair point. I assumed baby corn was something different to green giant sweet corn. I'm stuck in the mid 20s but have a trip to borough market next week to get some new ones

GM, I would count shittake, oyster and chestnut mushrooms as separate, but button, closed cup and open cup as one. Agree with tomatoes as just different varieties of the same species.
