I may also do a circuit of the perimeter of the local golf course, since it and the adjoining restaurant are shut. There's a risk someone will be around to chase me away, but I only need to get the blue circles once

You interest me strangely with your talk of closed golf courses, people - we have two quite close, both with public footpaths across them. I must investigate, despite being very anti-XC.

I'm enjoying finding new wee paths and back routes staying within my 2 mile grid from home. Grabbing circles, will look 100% soon! Stsy safe all. G

This lockdown is playing havoc with my targets - only managed 512 new circles in March and that included a half-marathon just before all races were cancelled. Hopefully restrictions will be lifted in time for two holidays booked for later in the year, and the backlog of races building up
I know in the big scheme of things it's not important, but it's good to have something to look forward to

annoyingly, there's a footpath I use several time a week, and it goes just west of my nearest 'missing' circle:
I might have to do a lap of the school playing field under cover of darkness

4903. 499 for this month already. I did go a weird, through fields, no paths route on Sun so that got a few new ones. And round the village, doing routes wouldn't normally do for some variety, so that prob helps too. G

Well done, PP!
I'm struggling to get to 3,000. Still at least there are plenty quite local ones that I can nab on my permitted walks, even if it means getting lost on the confusing estates the other side of the bypass.
