2,810 for me so far this year, so nicely on target for 10,000.

Though I must stress that it is not in any way a target of any kind whatsoever. Oh no, not at all. Running targets are foolish for old people with dodgy left legs, so this old person with a dodgy left leg is not looking at any targets at all this year. Absolutely not.

Funny enough I have a dodgy left leg too jabberknit - is there something in the air?

Perhaps we have a virtual dodgy leg virus. I am jealous that your dodgy left leg lets you run long distances though, minardi - mine whinges like a spoilt brat, throws a tantrum and refuses to go any further if I try to make it do more than 6 miles. It's very frustrating.

I have learnt the knack of ignoring anything my left leg tries to shout at me!

Grumpy left leg here too. Knee, big toe joint, and sometimes the ankle threatens to join in. We have an agreement.

Grumpy left knee, arthritic big toe joint and the toe I bashed 18 months ago chirps up occasionally too
What is it with left legs?

My left leg tends to be stronger (though right leg probably more supple). I've previously put that down to the left leg being the standing leg for football. I wonder if there is however some kind of bias in us all that might lead to a tendency for one leg to be more prone to injuries than others for a variety of potential reasons.

Right leg is all the bother here. Fine running but complains otherwise. Had to get cruise control so I can stretch it out on long journeys. I blame years of squash.

I know one side overpronates and the other is neutral which probably accounts for my aches and pains but I can't for the life of me remember which is which. I do know however that my left was screaming very loudly on this morning's run - not sure whether the piriformis or the hamstring was loudest, it was a fair battle between the two

I have a slightly different wear pattern on my shoes but I suspect it's the effect rather than the cause of my grumpy left leg, or completely irrelevant.

Count the blue circles on the map view in your training log for this year. HINT: Fetch does the counting.

Possible targets include 10,000 in total, 10,000 just running....
