Apologies! Late with the roundup. Again. Also struggling for ideas for a theme. Hopefully inspiration will strike before the end of July! For now I'm thinking on a Tour de France type theme! 🚲 🚲
So starting with some facts then some stats....
* France has had more TdF winners than any other country (36) but has not had an overall winner since 1985. The record for the most number of TdF wins was held by Lance Armstrong (7 wins) but he was stripped of his titles in 2012 due to allegations of performance enhancing drugs being involved. The title has not been awarded to other riders for the years where he took the title. UCI decided there should be no winner for the "Armstrong Years" (1999 -2005). But who are the actual most prolific winners then? I give you some race winner names, randomly. No particular order!
Firstly, for our top ten 1500ers.... Bernard Hinoult (France) winner 1978-79, 1981-82, 1985....

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm plodding along reasonably well, 145 miles for this month and a total of 917 miles for the year up to now. Will be gathering the stats for the roundup and posting that some time tomorrow. If anyone else would like to do a round up for the 1500ers later in the year, please let me know.
Much appreciated. Ness x

Hi. Sorry I've been very absent from this group ( and fetch in general) this year. I'm still trundling along the line just about. So far it's been my lowest fetch mileage year ever and unlikely to change, but hey, that's still an awesome achievement? So well done all of us. And those not quite there, well it's only number and you are awesome anyway.
