Spleen Jan 2016 11:42am, 29 Jan 2016 1,337 posts	0 Spleen Apparently last year 38,000 started the race last year (as in picked up their numbers), so theoretically they might not reach it if there is a very high number of DNFs. But according to a Guardian article, the completion rate since 1996 has consistently been 97-98%, even in difficult (hot) conditions, theguardian.com so it seems pretty much nailed on.

Can just see them having a huge fanfare for someone and later saying oh, actually, it was someone else. Lol Rosehip - are we going to be counting all the runners past?
