About Me
Started distant running 2008 when challenged to give the Poole 10k a try, by a work colleague and in a moment of madness I said yes. I haven't done any real running since school, and then I was a sprinter doing 100m upto 800m after which I would run out of energy and die, so never a distant runner. Although I must confess my training started ok but then it got very half hearted and/or I didn't really train properly if at all. I did the race just making it round in 1hr 19m 20s. I did a couple more races with a little more and better training under my belt thanks to friends and colleagues. It wasn't until about May this year with the help of a friend and now running partner Ian that I really got into running and training properly/seriously and I'm now taking it to an whole new level I'm enjoying, and have now got the bug. I am looking forward to 2010 and I hope big improvements in my running and times. Show More...
