Notes & Comments

Cambridge and Cambourne 10k. Hindsight! Shouldn't have ran it today as the PF in my foot has not cleared up enough. Thought I would go out to run a comfortable 50 minute race and all was fine up to 2 miles. Pain really kicked in at 2 miles, so eased off and decided to stop at 5k. Got to 5k and saw the course flattened out so kept going at an easy pace. So by the time I got to 4.5 miles, thought I may as well finish it. Basically the last 1.5 miles were a hobble with me not able to put any pressure on the left foot. Shame, as I feel really fit but the foot not ready yet. Hopefully no lasting damage and will keep to the cycling until sure it has cleared up.

Thanks everyone, it is pretty annoying, but it could be worse, so I can console myself with swimming and cycling.
