5x 1000 m @10k pace w/200 float, 2x 200, 2x 400

Race simulation 5x 1000 m at projected 10k race pace with 200 m float recoveries at steady to MP. Target lap time was about 1:45-1:47 (53 sec for 200) for 4:22-4:27 per km.

1) 1:43:1, 1:45.8, 51.9; 4:20.8, 199 W (a tad fast)
2) 1:46.0, 1:45.8, 52.9; 4:24.8, 187 W (nice one)
3) 1:48.2, 1:46.8, 53.6; 4:28.6, 185 W (a bit slow)
4) 1:46.0, 1:45.7, 52.9; 4:24.7, 186 W (copy lap 2)
5) 1:46.3, 1:47.3, 52.8; 4:26.4, 193 W (finishing strong)

After a short breather, I decided to accompany Olivia a bit during her final mile reps. I ran 2 fast 200s with her, the second one with a sprint finish for sub 6 pace (46 s). Then I closed out with 2x 400ish in 1:44, a tad faster than what I had before for the laps, around 6:40-6:45 pace with another sprint finish. Great session with a fast finish. Now I can compare the data with the session in the other super shoes in January.

Thank you. I'm feeling more comfortable at fast paces and I'm pleased that I can out sprint my friend who has a 6:01 mile PB while mine is 6:33. I just have to find a way to transfer that sprinting ability to slightly longer distances.
