About this parkrun
There are steps *GASP* which aren't as bad as people lead you to believe but if you get stuck behind someone who walks up the steps you're likely to lose your PB! I love this Parkrun, my husband doesn't. Try it for yourself & make your own mind up!22nd Dec 2018
This busy friendly parkrun has a bit of everything, grass, trail, tarmac, wildlife, woods and football pitches. But it's most famous feature is the flight of steps before 3km. Torture or crowning glory? I guess it depends on your training. Love it.

Varied surfaces, some up and down and steps!

Starts and finishes on grass in a flat open park, then goes on an undulating tarmac path, drops back to the park for a loop then back to the woodland up some steps. A bit boggy on the grass in winter. Free easy parking and a nice on site cafe.

Very flat out & back all the way around the park. Pretty flat but inclined to be soggy underfoot & boggy on the grass start & finish. There are some steps around 3k but theres a way around for buggies.
