Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hills of Death (HOD) Time don't know I was carp 64th ( 7th Woman though ;) ) hard race need spikes for this slipping all over the shop fell down the hill at the end as I was holding off a Bishops Stort runner nearly hit the pole. Will be better next week after our Xmas party. Try and be better next after Xmas party !
Barnet & District AC, Riverside Runners
Vicksta Only turned up to support but ended up running it. We didnt even have a team, only me and Cath there. Bit pathetic of our club really. I came 17th overall, our ladies team came last, obviously, and the mens team came last too, with our 3 best runners not being there. All in all not a good day for the club. Weather was dreadul, but i didnt find the run as bad as I had been expecting, so that was OK. Walked up a hill in a ploughed field though. Very good cakes at the end.

Vindicator Cross Country League (Race 1/4 - Ware). Testing course with some runs across ploughed fields and up some climbs made tougher by the wet and windy weather. I lost my shoe with ~5 yards of the last muddy ploughed field about 800m from the finish that cost me 5 places or so. Came home 52nd - too far back to score for the club. A nice array of cakes at the end that kept coming around on trays :-)

tramps Excellent course and really tough conditions. 11th overall so I can't complain (although 3 places lower than last year). It could be a rough season for Saffron Striders.
