Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

abdou Gobsmacked. PB by 11mins. Went off too quick, clearly, but it never really caught up with me. Nice course but nasty last couple of miles on brick pavement - scary moment just after 12 miles: searing pain in back of knee and I thought for a sec I'd done a ligament, but eased off a bit and managed what almost passed for a kick finish. Good marshals and support all the way round. I'm off to the pub...

BigEvilC First Half marathon and would have been really happy with anything under 1.50 so 1.43 with the hilly bit in the middle was fab.

MattTheRat Excellent day. Good course, hilly but nothing too hard, good countryside, good marshalling.

Set out at 8mm, but then decided after3 miles to run faster. The big hill from 7 to 8 miles slowed me down, but not by much, and then I overtook people all the way to the finish. Aimed for 1:45 and exceeded my expectations in a big way

Taralyn Loved it, esp as I wasn't sure if I had trained enough. Very comfortable and able to sustain effort right to the last km. Pretty, country route. One of my favorites.

Treacle Wahey! - a PB by 5 mins despite running this very easily as a training run! Heart rate only 70% average despite the very hilly course. Lovely run - will definitely do this next year!
