Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Is@@c Best 10k in the North West. First time I have raced against my daughter (Stockport Harriet) and she kept with me until 5km and eventually finished 2mins behind me - not bad for a 15 year old.

I will break that 40 mins barrier... sometime soon !

jolguk The Trafford 10k. I was a little bit concerned as I hadn't had much sleep the night before, but I knew I was pretty much on form. It was fairly cold, so not bad conditions, despite the wind sometimes being a bit trying, and the race is as perfectly flat as ever. Having most of my family along for the day definitely jigged me along, and I was elated to get a PB by a minute and a half. The organisation was perfect. A very good race.

AllyB I tried to fight through the headwind in the first couple of km and paid the price. Still got a PB though but not as quick as I hoped.

Doctor K Whoa! Great run and a new PB! Windy at times but beat the rain home. This is THE race for a good time!
Proudly wore the yellow Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation vest -they will now be £50 richer (plus gift aid) for that PB.
Thanks to everyone who bet.

ellew Should be able to do this in 55 mins if I was in shape - but I'm not. Really struggled with running recently, but am looking forward to first race of 2007 around scenic Dunham Massey....
A PB!! Fantastic - amazed :-) Still my favourite 10k, seemed so busy this year. Great to see so many people enjoying a fab race.
