richshelley Less said the better, too hot and too windy but poor motivation was main reason for disappointing performance.

baggieboy Please with my last 1/2 at Taunton after having a performis injury for nearly a year. Let see if i can break the 1hr 30 mark.

Let's get the excuses out of the way - The middle section of the race was a lot tougher than i though (Hills) and secondly it was a bit windy, however i am please with the time plus the added bonus of beating a club colleague who can run a sub 1.30.

garfieldhouse Wow! Really pleased with this race. It was hot and there were a few undulating rises and falls from Paignton to Torbay, but I managed to smash my personal best by over 3 minutes. I'm sorry I didn't put down something more positive then you guys could all have bet on me and won some points!

The race was very well organised, a pleasure to run the course, everything was really great and the sun shone (it was a bit warm in fact!). No wonder it filled up so quickly. Thanks to all the organisers and Marshalls for such a great day out.

clairebear My first half marathon and I found it really hard going. It was very windy and hot but my aim was not to stop running which is what i achieved. Aim to do it again next year and break the 2 hour mark!!1
