Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

About this parkrun

Flat, wide, fine gravel path, which creates a fair bit of dust when it's dry. Early days for this event, but it has started busy and therefore congested. Despite this, and starting late(!), I still managed a decent time, so overtaking is possible

Out and back twice on a flat firm gravel path . 4 u turns. Was quite puddly after a bit of rain in August. Parking at local Tesco extra with cafe toilets McDs and everything else for sale. 10 mins walk to the start. Ok parkrun, nothing special.

I would argue with Isheps review. The path is not that wide and at least when I ran I felt it was borderline dangerous with 300 people in a 2m wide path. Idiots trying to avoid puddles when it's shoulder to shoulder congested not helping.

I have to agree w The M. It's a lovely parkrun, but the start us very busy and pile ups when people won't run through puddles are unavoidable. V wet when it's rained the day before. Parking in Tesco's is great but it's definitely 1k to the start.

Two laps on hard gravel track and a little tarmac off an out and back course. A bit congested and a bit puddley on our run, bit potentially a quick course. Park and loos at Tesco and allow 10 mins to walk to the start.
