Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

IanS Wet and windy conditions - soaked through before we even started then just got wetter! Not an easy race either - just happy to have sneaked under 1.20 :-)

Debstir That was a toughie! The rain probably didn't help, I think that's the first time I've 'raced' wearing a cap. The hills (of which there were quite a few) sapped all the energy from my quads but fely quite strong on the flat (for most of the way). Quite happy with my time considering how gubbed I felt at times.

Gogsy! I hated this race all the way round & the only thing I can take from it is that I never gave up & worked at it from start to finish. After 3 miles I knew the time was not going to be important & that I simply had to get around. Although this event is practically on my doorstep, I'm not sure I will do it again as it was simply too tough for me. That said, the organisation was very good & the multitude of marshalls must have got soaked to the skin ... if not washed away.
