grumpyconnemara I found that surprisingly hard work ... but was v. pleased to have come in under 30 mins! was convinced I was under 28, but maybe not ... though this was not chip timed and I started right at the back! I think, as a race plan, starting too fast and getting faster leaves something to be desired....

Sweetie Definitely no bets - first race back since hurting my foot and I plan to take it nice and easy. ***Pretty much in the ballpark I was aiming for and no problems with the foot - look forward to picking up the pace a bit more for the 5k in July.
