Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Breezy Bit blustery and some drizzle. Target pace of 8 min/mile felt ok early on. Got suckered into pushing on a bit hard in the long downhill section at 3 miles only to turn a corner and face its mirror image back up to mile 5. A ver well organised race and hope to be there again next year.

Forest Faerie Phew, undulating to say the very least and that long long hill at 4 miles is a bit of a toughie. Great race, great organisation by a great club

Highlanderchick Taking part in the Original Mountain Marathon (or used to be known as the KIMM) a couple of weeks before this so depending on how legs are and injuries go will depend on time for this. Picked up a heel problem from the OMM, which caused tightnes up the calf and back of knee. Weather not so good today, but the numbers for this race has definately increased this year. Both ITB's tightened up at the hips and are very tender now. Official time 57 mins 57 secs, Garmin 57 mins and 43 secs.

TecT What a great race... really friendly, well marshalled, undulating course, a great paperweight momento, and FAB cakes at the finish. Wonderful that the 2 minutes silence was impeccably observed before the start. Great to meet Simontr and tuga coaxa [+ very cute children!] for the first time. Debbie G was there at the finish handing out water... perhaps she is right, that Stowmarket Striders are the friendliest club in Suffolk! :)
