Debstir Watch time - 'official' time will probably be bang-on my predicted time. Hilly, hot & hellish!! Wanted to pack it in at mile 2 and go back to the start, so pretty chuffed that I managed to finish without having to walk (although it was a close one on more than one occasion...). Ticketyboo That was hot, damn hot!!! with very little shade and hardly a breeze. Doused myself in sunscreen before the race but still ended up sunburned in what is probably the hottest weather I have ever raced.Tried to keep out of the sun and in the shade before the race but still really struggled from the off and wilted with the heat to record my worst half time for more than a year. Difficult course but well organised with plenty of water stations. Just managed to hold on for 5th place.
