Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

monki Full race report to follow, once I have been sent the pics. Let's just say there was sideways wind, endless drizzle, underpasses, and four minutes spent on the side of the road covered in blood, wondering whether to carry on or not. Then, for good measure, I tripped over in the stadium in the final 200 m.

The moral of the story is kids, NEVER WEAR A BRIGHT YELLOW HAT. (Oh, and tie your running shoes sensibly).

I was cruising, I tells ya, cruising. I was on course to beat every ruddy PB I have and ruined it all by eating pavement. Sigh.

I'm not even giving myself the two seconds that I didn't switch the watch off for. That's the kind of mood I'm in.

Bod Hoping for a PB and first sub 1.55. Gonna give it a go and see how it goes????

Hamstring went at 8.5 miles so ran/walked last 4/5 miles. Disappointed. Vey wet/rainy.

Jimbo In what must have been the worst conditions I have ever ran in, I somehow managed to blow away PB's at nearly every mile marker. My finish time of 1:34:34 was well beyond my expectations. A great end to the season and a real positive to take in to 2006.

BenDy First race after recovering from injury picked up running FLM 2005. Knocked 17 minutes of my PB from March '02. Weather was truly awful, pissed with rain & blew a gail the whole way round. I'd have been dryer & warmer in the bath!
